Summary:
This one gets an 8.75. I've been accused of being too famine and maybe that's why this move appeals to me on several levels. First, I liked the story.
yes there was some "fluff" added I could have done with out and would have been happier with more dialog, but it didn't kill the movie. Second, I liked
the acting. Honestly it was very well done and pretty believable with very few of those moments where it seemed like the person had no idea how to speak
naturally at all. Third, I liked the sex. Let me rephrase that, I liked how the sex was captured. None of it was the normal gratuitous stuff I see all
the time, but there were points where you could see genitals. Very classy how it was done. Additionally, the sex was very normal feeling and there seemed
to be a feeling of chemistry in every scene, especially the India/Liliana scene. Wow, what a sexy freakin' scene! The story line
itself was ok, I think I liked the message behind it all more than the story. And I also liked how they used the hip-hop culture as a background for
the moral - or the moral I got, which was be yourself; that's all you have. Reminds me of my own feelings on some of the "gangsters" I see in rap
today.... The only thing I really didn't like was how the guys never cam. Maybe they did, maybe they faked it, but I wanted to see something.
I didn't need a full on cum host, like normal, but something was needed. Anyway, this was a very nice little
flick. It certainly don't fall into porn though, I agree with the cast, this is far more art and erotica than porn. It just so happens to enjoy those
sexual feelings. I'd say rent it, unless couples stuff appeals to you, well more along the lines of Cinemax than couples porn really. I know one thing,
I want to see more of these types of movies.
Extras:
Some pretty decent extras here. Nothing amazing but the behind the scenes was good. 21 minute long and actually pretty insightful. I really enjoyed them.
Additionally there was a BTS gallery, an info commercial for the vibratos Simone used in her scene
(natural-contours.com). Also there were some web site info, some
info about Candida Royalle and some trailers for her movies: The Gift, Eyes of Desire 1 & 2, One Size Fits All, Under The Covers and Christie's Secret.
